An accomplished writer sees the writing on the wall of a new, unkind, scary era and the result is this well-intentioned book. There is some good history in there as well as a run-through of kindergarten rules for being kind to your neighbor. Good try, Barbara, but as we all know, the problem is much bigger. It's UUUUUGE. And has a bad hairdo.
